The largest and longest-running state-based conservative conference begins Thursday as the 2024 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference (PLC) gets underway at the Penn Harris Hotel in Camp Hill.
Billed as the premier gathering of public policy conservatives each year in the Keystone State, the PLC attracts a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists, and activists for three days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops, and networking.
Friday’s Liberty Dinner features Dinesh D’Souza as the keynote speaker and he will be joined by special guest Vivek Ramaswamy. D’Souza played a major role in the documentary, “2000 Mules” that was released in 2022, calling into question the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. Ramaswamy was a candidate for the GOP nomination for president this cycle.
Earlier in the day, attendees will hear from U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-10), U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick, and Pennsylvania Senate Majority Leader Joe Pittman (R-Indiana).
On Saturday, Newsmax’s John Gizzi will speak at breakfast which will be followed by a Pennsylvania Attorney General Forum with York County District Attorney Dave Sunday and state Rep. Craig Williams (R-Chester/Delaware).
State Treasurer Stacy Garrity will address the conference after the forum, as will U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser (R-09). A panel entitled “Build Trust in Pennsylvania Elections” will feature Heather Honey of the Election Research Institute and Cleta Mitchell of the Conservative Partnership Institute.
