Former Vice President Joe Biden holds a several point advantage over President Donald Trump in this key battleground congressional district in the Lehigh Valley.

According to a new LehighValleyLive/Franklin & Marshall College poll of likely voters Biden leads Trump by 7 points, 51%-to-44%, in the 7th Congressional District.

Sec. Hillary Clinton narrowly bested Trump in these congressional boundaries in 2016.

Biden leads Trump by 12 points in Northampton County and 2 points in Lehigh County. LehighValleyLive reports that Trump won Northampton County by 4 points in 2016, while Sec. Hillary Clinton won Lehigh County by 4.5 points.

This poll also shows Rep. Susan Wild (D-Lehigh) with an 8 point lead over GOP challenger Lisa Scheller, although 20% remain undecided in that race.

This is the third public poll released in October for the 7th Congressional District that also contains the results between Biden and Trump in the district. All three polls have shown Biden leading Trump.
