How Much Money Have the Parties Spent on the Key Congressional Races in Pennsylvania?

We are just 50 days out from the November 3 general election and the political party money taps are flowing in an attempt to influence your vote for their preferred candidate(s).

In just three Pennsylvania congressional districts alone (PA-07, PA-08 and PA-10), the Democrats and Republicans have combined to spend nearly $3 million on behalf of their candidates.

Among the 37 most closely watched races nationwide, the Commonwealth’s 8th Congressional District contest between Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R) and Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti ranks 10th in spending at $1,617,023.

Right behind PA-08 is the 10th Congressional District race between Rep. Scott Perry (R) and former broadcast journalist Janelle Stelson (D) at $1,478,861.

Spending in the 37 races combined is closing in on $42 million.

Here is a breakdown of what is being spent by Republicans, Democrats and their various political action committees in those key races in the Commonwealth.
