Fitzpatrick Scores Victory in PA1

The Republican incumbent earns another term in Congress to represent this Philadelphia suburban district.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks) defeated Democrat Christina Finello in the race for the 1st Congressional District in the Philadelphia suburbs. Fitzpatrick leads Finello by nearly 20 percent with 80% estimated to be in. The AP called the race at 3:23 P.M.

Fitzpatrick often promoted a wide range of bipartisan endorsements, while Finello linked him to Trump in most ads this cycle and criticized his vote for the GOP tax reform bill.

Outside national groups from both sides also invested in the race. National GOP groups hit Finello on crime-related matters, while national Democratic groups continued to link Fitzpatrick to Trump, including the president’s response to COVID-19.

In 2016, Sec. Hillary Clinton narrowly carried these boundaries.

  1. All these pundits and polls saying “Toss Up” “Leans Red” etc. Are morons.

Stick with me and my highly accurate predictions. I had Fitzpatrick beating the Croydon Queen by 20 points 2 months ago!
