Fetterman Calls On Israel To Show ‘No Mercy’ and Take Out Iranian Leader

In an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman says Israel “has fully earned the right to do whatever to finish off Iran and use its successful campaign against Hezbollah as a model.

That campaign in Lebanon ended with the assassination of the Hezbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

“Yes, just like Nasrallah,” Fetterman replied when queried whether the Jewish state should target Khamenei. “In fact, it should have been when Israel began to dismantle Iran.”

While Israeli prime minister Benajmin Netanyahu has not ruled out a strike against Iran’s supreme leader, Fetterman said that Israel not should let possible criticism stop it from moving forward.

“Israel has fully earned the right to do whatever to finish off Iran,” Fetterman said. “Consider what Israel has accomplished: crushed Hamas, same with Houthis, and neutered Hezbollah. Syria fell. All of the so-called experts were absolutely wrong. Iran turned out as the ultimate paper tiger and needs to be put away.”

Pennsylvania’s Democratic senator also told the Free Beacon that he wishes the U.S. would join the military effort against Iran to ensure that the country cannot enrich uranium or build nuclear weapons.

“Iran must be held fully accountable,” Fetterman continued. “Furthermore, I’ve been very clear: We should join Israel to fully destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.”

The Commonwealth’s Republican senator – Dave McCormick – tweeted on Friday that Iran needs to make a choice.
