Arrr! Toomey Opposes Law of the Sea: Avast! This day, Senator Pat Toomey came out in opposition to th’ United Nations’ Law ‘o th’ Sea Treaty, which he said risks American interests.
Roll Call: Gerlach and Critz are White Whales: Roll Call has likened two PA congressmen, Reps. Jim Gerlach (R-Chester) and Mark Critz (D-Cambria), to Captain Ahab’s white whales — seats the opposing party chases every cycle without success.
Barletta Slams Obama Immigration Order; Corbett Reserves Judgment: Rep. Lou Barletta, an outspoken advocate of strict rules to deal with illegal immigration, says President Obama’s recent executive order is an attack on the Constitution. Gov. Tom Corbett reserved judgment during an interview Saturday.
ICYMI: Obama’s WV Problem Stretches Into PA: A significant portion of western and central PA Dems declined to vote for Barack Obama in the primary. The results resemble those of Kentucky and West Virginia, where he lost about 40 percent of the vote to no-name opponents or “undecided.”
